The following information covers our general sales policy and may help you with questions related to purchases at which is operated by Norway Shop AS registered as a legal entity in Norway.

Privacy statement

Our site uses an order form for customers to request information, products, and services. We collect contact information (like email address) which will not be shared with third parties. We do not collect your financial information (credit card numbers). The customers' and/or recipients' delivery address and telephone number will be clearly printed outside all parcels, unless otherwise clearly instructed by the customer. Contact information from the order forms is used to get in touch with a customer when necessary only unless customer agreed otherwise.

Payment methods

Norway Shop AS complies PCI DSS, uses secure servers and SSL security solutions. This means that all transferred data will be highly encrypted and safe. Through our secure server we offer the following payment options:

A. Payment with most popular credit cards, like VISA, MasterCard, American Express, JCB, Dinners, etc. Norway Shop guarantees that no credit cards will be debited until the ordered goods are confirmed as available and ready for shipment to your indicated address.

N.B. American Express credit cards will processed with Norwegian krone (NOK) currency using an exchange rate applied on site.

Credit Card security guarantee

This site uses SSL (Security Socket Layer) to protect the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under our control. SSL is recognized by the international banks and credit card companies as the safest way of protecting information on the Internet.
Every credit card purchase you make at is backed by our security guarantee. Our secure server software encrypts information, ensuring that Internet transactions stay private and protected. If any unauthorized use of your credit card occurs as a result of your credit card purchase from, simply notify your credit card provider in accordance with its reporting rules and procedures. If, through no fault of your own, your credit card company finds credit card fraud but does not waive your entire liability for unauthorized charges, Norway Shop AS will reimburse you for the remaining liability, up to a maximum of US $55.00.


All prices can be quoted in a currency available on choice menu and selected by customer. Norway Shop AS charges the amount in currency selected by client during check out process (unless American Express is used for payment - see "Payment methods" above). For all other currencies the total purchase amount is converted automatically by your bank and/or the credit card company, using the exchange rate the date they bill your account. There will be no sales tax added to the quoted prices. Shipping costs as per client's selection. Norwegian VAT tax (25 %) will be added to any item sent to addresses within Norway.

Order Confirmation and Invoicing

Our customer is provided with his/her shopping cart summary during a checkout process and before payment step. None of un-shown charges/fees may be applied. By placing an order customer receives an immediate e-mail message with order confirmation: list of items ordered, total amount which will be reserved on their credit card (unless customer chose to use a bank wire payment) and other related details. No charges are processed until parcels are physically dispatched from our premises. When a credit card has been authorized a customer receives one more e-mail message stating a successful credit card processing. Order invoices depending on a carrier chosen are normally included into parcels. In case an invoice cannot be found inside of parcel a customer is always able to download it from our web-shop by logging into his/her account. If an account was not created during a checkout it is still possible to access all order details by following this link and entering order number with an e-mail address which was used for placing an order.

Response Guarantee

All orders are handled the day we receive the order, or the next working day at latest. If the ordered items should not be available, we will keep you informed when the item will be sent. Please note that we do NOT charge credit cards until the moment we ship your order to you!


TaxFree Guarantee

All products at are Tax Free (duty free) when they are sent abroad, i.e. outside Scandinavia. For any order sent within Norway the Norwegian sales tax (VAT) of 25 % will be added to the total order sum.

Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes, which could be levied once your package reaches your country. The seller does not collect local duties and thus, cannot exactly predict what your particular charges may be.

Furthermore, should you accept delivery of goods without paying applicable taxes, duties, charges and/or fees you hereby authorize us to charge you for such charges and/or fees and to withhold them to the appropriate authorities on your behalf.

In an event of refuse to accept your order you agree that you are responsible for all shipping charges both ways and you hereby authorize us to charge you accordingly.

For US Customers, packages whose declared value is under USD 200 will generally be cleared without any additional paperwork prepared by Customs. More information about Internet Purchases from abroad to the US can be found at:


Packages are generally dispatched within 2 days after authorization of payment and are shipped either via UPS with tracking or via AirMail Shipping (without tracking).

Shipping fees include handling and packing fees as well as postage costs.

Limited Liability

All purchased goods are sent from Norway Shop AS by using third party freight services. Although we do our best to ensure that all goods arrive at their delivery address as quick as possible Norway Shop AS cannot take any responsibility with regard to the date of delivery.

Norway Shop AS shall under no circumstance be liable to pay compensation to customer exceeding the value of goods and freight charges that a claim from the customer relates to. Norway Shop AS shall not be liable to compensate customer for any loss caused by the customer having to make a substitute purchase.

Norway Shop AS has a long experience in safe and secure shipment of souvenirs, sweaters and other garments. We pack all goods personally, and send them directly to the delivery address. Boxes/bags are of an optimal size and thus, your items are well-protected.

Return & Exchange


When shopping at Norway Shop AS, you are always welcome to return your order and get refunded or exchange, if:

  •          The item did not fit you or the person for whom you ordered it, or
  •          The item did not arrive in a proper condition


The Exchange Guarantee is valid for 15 days after receipt of your order. For any seasonal gift in December and January, the exchange guarantee is valid for 15 days after opening the gift item. The products have to be returned unused and in original bags and with original tags on.

As soon as the returned product arrives, Norway Shop AS will issue a personalized voucher code in a value of the item returned. This code should be entered at the check-out step while placing your exchange order. Shipping costs will be deducted from the credit value. Items that were on sale at the moment of purchase will not be refunded. Whereas, an exchange is still possible if an item is in stock.

If free shipping was received by a customer and a full refund is required: ordinary shipping costs will be deducted from the refunding amount. Gift or any other promotional coupons are non-refundable and can be used only once unless it is stated otherwise.


In order to deliver your merchandise for Exchange/Return you should have an active customer account with us. Please login to your account by clicking on "Login" on the top right corner or any option under the section "MY ACCOUNT" at the footer of our web-shop.

If you forgot your password please click on a corresponding link and enter your e-mail address which was used by placing your initial order. A password resetting link will be generated and sent to you. If you are unsure whether you have created your account or your e-mail address was not found in a database please send us a message and we will sort it out for you.

After accessing your account go to "Order history and details", click on "details" and select an item in your order you wish to exchange. Leave your comment and click the button "Ask for Return slip". You will receive a notification message about return status from us within 24 hours. You can also check the status under "My merchandise returns". As soon you receive a return confirmation please print a return slip and follow the instructions provided therein and the text below.
